Release Notes: November 18, 2022

Our November 18, 2022 release includes a number of improvements and enhancements, many requested by customers as we work to continually make Tenna the most effective platform for construction equipment and fleet management needs. Here's what's new!

But first: refresh your browser! Make sure you're seeing the latest and greatest from Tenna.

Data Access Control Enhancements

You now have the ability to apply Data Access Control to Power Users. Enhanced Data Access Control Settings allow Power Users to interact only with the organizations they are tied to.

Note: If you have power users, this change may impact their access. They will only have access to the organizations to which they are tied. If you need help adjusting this access, please contact your Customer Success manager.

Reporting Enhancements

We've enhanced the reporting function in Tenna Online so reports are faster, more interactive, and more insightful. Improvements include pagination to optimize select reports and updates to exports. Other improvements include:

  • Hover over the Asset Name field to pop-up a window with the Asset photo, category, and link to the Asset Detail page.
  • Category icons now appear alongside the Major Category.
  • Hover over the Site Name to pop-up a window with the Google Maps location, Site Address, and link to the Site Detail page.

Maintenance Enhancements

The grid on the Work Order page now includes Parts Cost, Labor Cost, and Total Cost. These columns can be sorted and exported for improved Total Cost of Ownership reporting On the Preventative Maintenance page, the grid will now include columns for the Asset’s Current Site and Project No. This will improve coordination since Users will readily see where the Asset is located.

Users will now be able to hover over the Current Hours on the Preventative Maintenance page for greater precision. For example, when an Asset appears to have 500.0 hours but a preventative maintenance service has not triggered, hovering can clarify that the specific hours for the Asset are actually 499.95.

Easier Asset Navigation

Asset Tags can now be clicked to bring Users directly to the relevant report or page:

  • Running tag (green key icon) will navigate Users directly to the Maps page where they can see the asset’s live location.
  • Maintenance Needed tag (red wrench icon) will navigate Users directly to the asset’s Maintenance page.
  • Fault Code/DCT tag (purple check engine icon) will navigate the user to the asset’s Safety & Compliance tab and show the new Fault Codes or DTCs.

Company Contact Enhancements

Assign timezones and allow contacts to receive notifications. For example, you can allow an outside hauler to know when they are scheduled for a delivery.

ELD Enhancements

The new Gorilla ELD system is now available. Enabled accounts will have the Gorilla ELD tile available on the Safety & Compliance page.

Schedule Now Available

View all scheduled activities for assets or labor resources on one easy-to-view Gantt Chart including, but not limited to:

  • Asset requests
