How to Edit a Request (Desktop)

Requests can be edited by a user until the request has gone through the first level of approver (field approver-if applicable).

NOTE: You need to have either "Asset Approver" or "Labor Approver" permissions to edit an approved asset or labor request.

Click "Resource Management" on the left-hand navigation menu.

Click on the "Requests" tile.

Once in the requests main page, click on the request you'd like to edit.

A popup will populate for the request you chose, to edit the request click "Edit Request".

Edit the request information details.

Once you have edited the information for the request, click "Update".

Note: If a user updates any of the following fields while a request is pending approval, a notification will be sent to the requestor, any "recipients to notify" that are listed, field approver (if applicable), and approved by (shop approver) :

  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Start Time
  • End Time
  • Priority
  • Notes

If the user updates any of the following fields while after the request is approved, a notification will be sent to the requestor, any "recipients to notify" that are listed, field approver (if applicable), and approved by (shop approver):

  • Site Requested for
  • Requested Location
