How to Create and Submit Mechanic Time Cards (App)

Mechanic Time Cards allow mechanics to easily capture their time against assets, work orders, maintenance requests, and sites. Mechanic Time Cards improve efficiency, track employee productivity, and streamline payroll processes.
Permission Requirements: All users have access to create and submit Mechanic Time Cards.
How to Create a Time Entry

- Log into the Tenna app.

- Click the plus icon on the bottom toolbar.

- Select "Time Entry" from the menu.

- Fill out the details for the time entry and click "Create and Add Time Entry". Time Type, Hours, and at least 1 assignment (work order, maintenance request, site, or asset) is required to complete the time entry.
Note: Time entries must be assigned directly to a work order, maintenance request, asset, or a site. You can also create time entries from within a work order or maintenance request.
How to Create a Time Card

- Log into the Tenna app.

- Click the plus icon on the bottom toolbar.

- Select "Time Card" from the menu.

- Fill out the details of the New Time Card, including any important notes for the time card.
Note: Users cannot create a time card with dates that overlap an existing time card for that specific user. The full date range must be unique.
The time card details will display total hours for the pay period, general information, any approvers, and signatures for the time card. To edit the time card or submit it for approval, click time card actions. Users can also lock or mark as processed under actions.
How to View Time Cards

- Click on the dotted icon on the bottom toolbar.

- Click "My Time Cards".

- Select the time card to edit and view.
