How to Allocate a Part to a Work Order or Maintenance Request (Desktop)

Users can easily allocate parts from a master Part Request to a work order or maintenance request. This can only be done in Tenna on a desktop, not from the Tenna App.

NOTE: The “Allocate Parts” action will be disabled if a part is already associated with a work order or a maintenance request.

Permission Requirements: Users with the “Manage Part Request” permission can allocate parts. To allocate to an existing maintenance request, users must also have the “Edit Maintenance Request” permission. To allocate to an existing work order, users must also have the “Edit Work Order” and “View Work Order” permissions.

💥Parts and Maintenance are premium products and require separate licenses. Please contact your Account Manager for more information on premium product licenses or reach out to Customer Support at [email protected] or call 888.836.6269.
