TennaU LMS Overview
TennaU is Tenna's Learning Management System (LMS) that offers curated learning courses to train your employees on Tenna.
Permission Requirements: All Tenna users have access to TennaU.
How to Access TennaU
From Tenna on a Desktop
Click "TennaU" on the navigation bar on the left.
From the Tenna Mobile App

- Tap the "dotted icon" on the bottom right to access the More Menu.

- Scroll down and click "TennaU" on the bottom.
How to Log in to Tenna
The first time clicking on "TennaU", and periodically thereafter, you will be redirected to a login screen.

- Enter the username you use to log into Tenna and click "Next".
If your username is an email address, enter the email address as your username.
If your username is your phone number, enter your phone number as your username.
Important! When entering your phone number, it must be in E.164 format (i.e. +12125551212).

- Enter your password and click "Continue".
NOTE: If two-factor authentication is enabled, you will be prompted to enter the SMS verification code, just as you do when logging into Tenna.
SSO Users
To enable the login flow above, your company’s IdP must be configured to support a federated SP-initiated SSO from Tenna into your company’s identity provider.
Your company’s IT department/manager will need to ensure your identity provider issues valid assertions and is correctly configured to trust Tenna as a service provider. Tenna cannot configure, troubleshoot, or support your company’s identity infrastructure.
How to Navigate TennaU
Once you are logged in to TennaU, there are so many things at your fingertips!
TennaU Homepage
Search Bar
Use the search bar at the top of the page to quickly search for and select courses and trainings.
Homepage Banner
The scrolling banner at the top of the homepage gives you quick access to things like the Tenna E-Store, the latest releases, registering for Product Previews, new featured products, and the Knowledge Base.
Click on the banner of interest to be redirected to the relevant page.
My Learning Plan
The My Learning Plan widget on the top left shows you all of the courses and trainings you have been enrolled in sorted by "Courses in progress", "Courses to start", and "Upcoming live courses".
Click on a course to access it.
Click on "Full list of my courses and learning plans" to view all on one page.
All TennaU Courses
Click on the "All TennaU Courses" button in the middle of the page to access Tenna's complete course catalog.
From the TennaU Course Catalog, click on a topic to view the courses in that category and select the course you would like to view.
NOTE: There are 3 different types of courses available in TennaU:
- Configurations: The configurations courses are geared towards setting up your Tenna platform (for example, creating and editing assets, configuring Maintenance, etc.).
- Fundamentals: The fundamentals courses are the meat and bones of how to use the Tenna platform (for example, viewing assets, tracker troubleshooting, using tracker insights, etc.)
- Advanced: The advanced courses include another level of information on utilizing the Tenna platform to its fullest potential (for example, best practices).
Tenna Knowledge Base
Click on the "Knowledge Base" button on the right or on the Knowledge Base image on the scrolling banner at the top. This will redirect you to the Tenna Knowledge Base for additional How To articles and information.
Product Updates
Click the "Product Updates" button on the bottom left to view Tenna's latest release notes.
TennaU Events
Click the "TennaU Events" button to view upcoming Product Previews, TennaU Trainings, and other upcoming training events.
TennaU Courses
Once you select a course to view, the course will open to intro page with an agenda for the course. Click "Start Course" to begin.
The navigation bar on the left will display your completion status as you go through the course.
If you need to exit the course at any time, click the "X" on the top right of the screen.
To continue with the course, click "Pick up where you left off" or click "TennaU Homepage" on the top left to get back to the homepage.
Once you have completed a course, click the "X" at the top of the screen.
Click "Retake the lesson" to go back into the course or click "TennaU Homepage" on the top left to go back to the homepage.
