Enhancements
Asset Financials
New! Discussion Thread in Billing and Cost Entries
Teams can now collaborate directly on individual financial entries using a dedicated discussion side panel. Users can leave comments, @mention teammates to trigger notifications, and filter the Entries table by "Has Discussion" to quickly track and resolve open questions.
Why It Matters: Eliminates scattered email and chat threads when questioning or validating billing records. Field supervisors and accounting teams can resolve discrepancies right where the data lives, with @mentions and full audit context intact.

Additional Bulk Import Options
Tenna now supports bulk import via CSV for multiple asset financials data fields, including:
- Breakdown Types
- Exception Types
- Codes (Rate Codes, Revenue Codes, and Phase Codes)
Why It Matters: Saves significant onboarding and setup time by allowing data to be uploaded in seconds via CSV rather than entered manually one-by-one. This is especially helpful if you have an existing ERP system with established codes. Users can download from the ERP and upload to Tenna.

Bulk Updates Available for Billing & Costing Automation
Users with the required Job Accounting permissions can now bulk update Billing Automation and Costing Automation directly from the Assets List View toolbar. Selecting multiple assets allows administrators to turn Billing or Costing automation On or Off in a single action, complete with immediate confirmation snackbars and a drill-down link to the affected assets.
Why It Matters: Significantly reduces repetitive administrative work when onboarding new machinery or reconfiguring automation across teams. Fleet managers can enforce consistent automation rules across dozens or hundreds of assets simultaneously in a few clicks.

Create Financial Entries
Users can now create and edit billing and cost entries in a convenient form.

Edit Codes in Entries
Authorized users can now edit Rate Codes, Revenue Codes, and Phase Codes directly on existing manual or automated entries (both cost and billing, processed or unprocessed), seamlessly updating records while preserving audit history.

Customize a Preferred Exception Type Order
Added the ability to define a custom display order for Exception Types in Settings. This preferred order is now reflected consistently across Asset filters, the Apply Exception modal, and the Entries table.

Links to view Affected Geofences and Assets when Deleting a Job
When a job is deleted, a pop-up will display details about the ramifications of deleting a job. We have added links to view affected geofences and assets due to the job deletion. Clicking on these links will take you to geofence and/or asset grids filtered to the job.

Autofill Rate Tables from Parent Job with "Clone" Prefix
When rate tables are auto-filled from a parent job during job setup, Tenna now automatically prefixes both the Rate Table Number and Rate Table Name with “Clone - Rate Table Number” and “Clone - Rate Table Name”.
Why It Matters: This instantly distinguishes inherited rate tables from parent job configurations, preventing accidental modifications to shared rate tables and simplifying rate management across parent and child jobs.

Job Entry Time Zone Lock
The Time Zone field on the Edit Job form is now automatically locked and disabled once financial entries (cost or billing) have been created for that job. If all entries associated with the job are removed, the field becomes editable again.
Why It Matters: Protects data integrity by preventing time zone modifications post-entry creation, avoiding auditing discrepancies, rate calculation errors, and missed hours across reporting views.

Confirmation Modal for Breakdown Units Changes
When modifying the Breakdown Units configuration (switching between Dollar Editable ($) and Percent Editable (%)) under Jobs Configuration and clicking Update, Tenna now displays a confirmation modal ("Change Breakdown Units?").
The prompt clarifies that the change applies only to new entries going forward (historical entry values will not be altered) and advises administrators to review their rate tables. Users can select "Yes, Apply" to confirm the update or "Cancel" to revert to the previous setting without saving.
Why It Matters: Prevents unintentional changes to account-wide financial breakdown units, clearly sets expectations around historical data preservation, and prompts administrators to verify rate table configurations for upcoming calculations.

Approval Workflow for New Manual Entries
The Review Changes Panel now supports reviewing and approving newly created manual cost and billing entries that are in a "Waiting Approval" state.
- Review & Approval: Users with the “Accept Changes to Cost/Billing Entries” permission can open the review panel to inspect all submitted fields for new manual entries, choosing to Approve/Apply Entry or Reject (which removes the unapproved entry).
- Multi-Change Support: If subsequent edits were proposed on top of a newly created manual entry, reviewers can compare the initial entry creation against subsequent change requests and select the appropriate version.
- View vs. Edit Modes: Approving from the View Entries page immediately commits the entry to the database and refreshes the view, while applying from the Edit Entries grid stages the approved entry until the main Save Entries action is taken.
- Read-Only Access: Users with view permissions but without approval rights can access a read-only "View Manual Entry Creation" panel to inspect pending entries.
Why It Matters: Provides complete governance over manual financial inputs, ensuring all user-created cost and billing entries undergo proper oversight and audit logging before impacting job totals.
Cost & Billing Filters on Jobs Grid
The Jobs Grid now includes dedicated filters for Cost and Billing, allowing users to quickly locate and segment jobs by their financial setup:
- Conditional Visibility: The Billing filter only displays when the "Show Billing" setting is enabled under Settings > Configurations > Jobs. Likewise, the Cost filter only displays when "Show Costing" is enabled.
- Flexible Filtering: Both filters support multi-value selection as well as filtering for blank/unassigned values.
- Independent Selection: Cost and Billing filters can be applied separately or together without conflicting with one another.

Exception Filter added to Assets
Added an Exception filter to the Asset List filter panel (available across List, Grid, Group, and Map views) for accounts using Job Accounting. Users can multi-select active exception types (with icons and names) to filter the asset list using OR logic.
Why It Matters: Streamlines fleet audits and financial reconciliation. Instead of combing through hundreds of assets, equipment accountants and asset managers can instantly isolate equipment with operational or financial exceptions, speeding up resolution and billing cycle closeouts.
