Tenna Integration Instructions for John Deere JDLink

JDLink Setup

Step 1. The user that enters their JDLink credentials in Tenna will only be able to integrate equipment data that they have access to within JDLink.

Step 2. The user must have an Equipment permission level of 2 or 3 in John Deere Team Manager.

Step 3. JDLink allows for a Company to have multiple organizations. 

Step 4.  Please navigate to connections.deere.com and login with your credentials.  You will then search for the “Tenna AEMP” application and authorize Tenna there.

  • If The Tenna AEMP does not have the connect button visible, go to teammanager.deere.com and edit the user whose credentials are used in Organization Management
  • Users can be part of multiple organizations.  If you are intending to integrate JDLink data from multiple organizations within your Company, please ensure that the user credentials being entered in Tenna has access to all organizations in your JDLink Company.

Enabling the Integration within Tenna:

Step 1. A Power User must be logged in to establish the integration.

Step 2. To identify or add a Power User in Tenna.

Note: If you already have Tenna Power User credentials, move on to the next step.

  • For help identifying a Tenna Power User, contact Tenna Customer Success at (833) 50-TENNA.
  • To add a new Power User or modify an existing user, follow these steps:

Step 3. Click on Settings in the top Global Navigation.

Step 4. Click on the Integrations tab.

Step 5. Select OEM from the Integrations landing page.

Step 6. Select Login under John Deere.

Step 7. A dialog box will appear where you will need to enter your login credentials. 

TIP: Make sure your browser does not block pop-up windows

Step 8. If this is your first integration setup, a Disclaimer acceptance window will open.

Please review and when finished, click Accept. Note: After a Power User accepts this on the company's behalf, the disclaimer will not be displayed again.

Step 9. If the integration connects successfully, Connection Online will be shown on the screen.

Step 10. Next, you will need to manually sync the OEM's asset to a Tenna asset by selecting Fix Issues.

Step 11. Selecting the Manage button will allow you to view all synced assets and remove an asset's association to the OEM.
