Trip Finder Overview

What: Trip Finder can be used to find a specific asset with partial trip data, so you can identify which asset may have been in a particular location at a particular time. 

Who: Anyone with the Map View permission can view and use the Trip Finder function.

Select "Maps" From the left-hand navigation.

Select the "Trip Finder" tile.

Type in the nearest known address of the trip you are trying to find.

Once you select an address, a pin drop will appear on the map.

Click on the pin to set the date and time parameters and set an automatic 1/4-mile radius around the pin.

NOTE:

The timeframe of the search is 1 hour by default and cannot be expanded or reduced.

The default radius is 1/4 mile around the location and cannot be expanded or reduced.

Once the date and time are set, click "Search".

Once "Search" is clicked, any vehicles that passed through that radius during that timeframe will appear listed on the left-hand side of the map.

Click on the trip details to view the trip on the Trip Finder map.

To view the trip from the asset details page, click the eye icon to the right of the desired trip.
