Tenna Integration Instructions for Volvo CareTrack AEMP 2.0

Requesting API Credentials:

Step 1. Send the following email to your Volvo Distributor and request to be forwarded to ActiveCare Direct Customer Support <[email protected]>

“Hello,

We would like to request CareTrack API AEMP 2.0 access.  Please create AEMP API 2.0 credentials so that we can access the telematics data for our machines.  Please provide the following information:

API key

GTP client ID and client secret

AEMP API 2.0 username and password

Please set the account in Full Production

Thank you, 

[User's Full Name]”

Step 2. You should receive an email back from your distributor with your API credentials. It should include the following

Enabling the Integration within Tenna:

Step 1. A Power User must be logged in to establish the integration.

Step 2. To identify or add a Power User in Tenna.

Note: If you already have Tenna Power User credentials, move on to the next step.

  1. For help identifying a Tenna Power User, contact Tenna Customer Success at (833) 50-TENNA.
  2. To add a new Power User or modify an existing user, follow these steps:
    1. Video: Add User
    2. Video: Modify Permissions

Step 3. Click on Settings in the top Global Navigation.

Step 4. Click on the Integrations tab.

Step 5. Select OEM from the Integrations landing page.

Step 6. Enter the API credentials provided by Volvo.

Note: Your Tenna App ID and the API Key are the same.

Step 7. If this is your first integration setup, a Disclaimer acceptance window will open.

Please review and when finished, click Accept

Note: After a Power User accepts this on the company's behalf, the disclaimer will not be displayed again.

Step 8. If the integration connects successfully, Connection Online will be shown on the screen.

Step 9. Next, you will need to manually sync the OEM's asset to a Tenna asset by selecting Fix Issues.

Step 10. Selecting the Manage button will allow you to view all synced assets and remove an asset's association to the OEM.
