How to Create a Dispatch Event from the Dispatch Queue (Desktop)

💥Dispatch is part of Resource Management which requires a separate license. Please contact your Account Manager for more information on licenses or reach out to Customer Support at [email protected] or call 888.836.6269.

The Dispatch Queue houses all the current Requests for assets, laborers and/or crews. A dispatch delivery is the instruction for an asset and its assignee to move from site A to site B and complete any related tasks.  From the dispatch queue, Dispatchers can schedule the itinerary for a dispatch event.

The Dispatch Queue allows you to view and manage all scheduled resources waiting to be dispatched.

  • Create delivery, asset task, and labor tasks
  • For general requests, select the specific asset or laborer who meets the task/site requirements
  • Quickly evaluate status of all dispatch events to keep projects on schedule
  • Quickly open requests and dispatch panels to see all pending tasks

The Dispatch Board, Dispatch Queue and Dispatch Events pages are all relevant pages in this workflow. They can each be accessed from the Requests tile within the main Resource Management page (accessible from Resource Management on the left side navigation bar). Dispatch events can only be processed within the web version of Tenna, but deliveries are completed and updated within the Tenna App.
