Equipment Rental Integration: Sunbelt

What: Tenna’s integration with Sunbelt Rentals allows Tenna customers using Sunbelt to supplement their existing assets to track both owned and rented assets across all job sites.

Benefits:

  • Improved Visibility: Rented or owned, there is a need to understand how an asset is used, how it affects productivity and profits, and if it is needed again.
  • Better Decisions: Capturing use, maintenance, and other data from rented as well as owned assets allows for more informed decisions about purchasing needs.
  • Simplify Work: Rather than managing multiple systems, users can now manage everything in one system with AEMP compliance.

How it Works:

  • Connect the Sunbelt Rentals account as an equipment rentals provider integration in Tenna
  • Map Sunbelt assets to assets in the Tenna account*
  • AEMP compliant data flow integrates with Sunbelt Rentals telematics
  • Resulting data makes it easier to understand which rented assets are most frequently requested and which owned assets are not
  • Purchasing decisions are easier and more informed
Note: Assets must have telematics set to Sunbelt Rentals to be mapped to Sunbelt Rentals IDs

Tenna Integration Instructions for Sunbelt Rentals

Requesting Sunbelt Rentals API Credentials:

Step 1. Contact your Sunbelt Sales representative to request a meeting with the Sunbelt Connected Technology Engineering and Solutions team.
This meeting needs to include:
Chris Malekar ( [email protected]) and Brandon Parker ( [email protected])
Step 2. Sunbelt will setup an initial meeting to review requirements and expected results.
Step 3. Please follow Sunbelt's directives and complete any Sunbelt required documentation including but not limited to an NDA.
Step 4. Once the required documents/agreements are signed and returned, Sunbelt will provide you with you Customer CorpLink ID

Enabling the Integration within Tenna:

Step 1. A Power User must be logged in to establish the integration.
Step 2. To identify or add a Power User in Tenna.
Note: If you already have Tenna Power User credentials, move on to the next step.
  1. For help identifying a Tenna Power User, contact Tenna Customer Success at (833) 50-TENNA.
  2. To add a new Power User or modify an existing user, follow these steps:
    1. How to Create a User
    2. How to Create/Edit Permissions Groups
Step 3. Click on Settings in the top Global Navigation.

Step 4. Click on the Integrations tab.

Step 5. Select Equipment Rental Providers from the Integrations landing page.

Step 6. Enter the CorpLink ID provided by Sunbelt.

Step 7. If this is your first integration setup, a Disclaimer acceptance window will open.

Please review and when finished, click Accept

Note: After a Power User accepts this on the company's behalf, the disclaimer will not be displayed again.

Step 8. If the integration connects successfully, Connection Online will be shown on the screen.

Step 9. Selecting the Manage button will allow you to view all synced assets and remove an asset's association to Sunbelt Rentals. The Asset Mapping button will allow you to manually map any assets that are received from Sunbelt that did not sync automatically.
