How does an ERP integration work?
An ERP integration syncs specific data points of assets and sites from the ERP to your account in Tenna.

How do ERP integrations sync and how often does it happen?
On a regular schedule, Tenna checks the ERP for any changes in assets or sites. If there are changes, Tenna updates to reflect those changes. Tenna also, in real time, looks for changes in Tenna for assets and updates the ERP accordingly.
The syncing schedule is dependent on the specific ERP integration.

Does Tenna support User Defined/Custom fields in ERP integrations?
Yes, Tenna does support some UD/Custom fields depending on the type of ERP integration.

I have an asset that has 2 records - one pulled by Vista and the other created manually by a user. Is it possible to merge assets to delete the duplicate?
There is no option to merge assets. However, you can delete the duplicate asset.
If the asset pulled from the ERP does not have a tracker associated with it, delete that asset. Then find the manually added asset that has a tracker and change the fleet number to the include the company code from the ERP.
If the asset pulled from the ERP does have a tracker associated with it, delete the asset that was manually added.
If both have a tracker, review each asset, and determine which is the correct one to save. Un-associate the tracker from the one that is incorrect and delete that asset.
NOTE You cannot delete an asset that has a tracker associated with it.

The data fields mapped are specific to each type of ERP integration.
