Site Cards
Each card on the Dispatch Board represents one of your job sites, giving you an at-a-glance view of activity across all your locations. Site cards are color-coded by site type for quick identification:
- π΅ Blue - Project
- π£ Purple - Yard
- π’ Green - Office
- β« Gray - No site type assigned
Note: There is a limit of 40 sites per board.
What Site Cards Do
Display site-level activity Each site card shows what's currently happening at that location, including requests, dispatches, assets, labor, and more. Cards can be toggled between a Summary view for high-level counts and a Detail view for a closer look at activity.
Show child cards for more detail Site cards contain child cards for individual resources at that site, such as specific assets and laborers.
Provide site-level actions Site cards give you quick access to a range of actions:
- Use the dotted icon in the top right of the site card to:
- Remove the site from the current board
- Add or edit a site-level note
- Change the site header color (note: header colors are user-specific)
- Use the dotted icon on a specific resource to:
- View the asset or labor resource
- Create a Dispatch (Delivery)
- Create a task
- Add or edit a note
- Hover over a label to edit it directly on the card.
- Set your default tab preference β choose whether cards open in Summary or Detail view by default.

Drag & Drop Function
The Dispatch Board supports drag and drop, so you can quickly move work and resources between sites without opening extra screens.
What You Can Drag
From a site card's Detail tab, you can drag:
- Requests
- Scheduled items (approved requests)
- Assets
- Crews
- Laborers
Every site appears as its own site card, and a No Site card captures anything that hasn't been assigned to a site yet.
What Happens When You Drag and Drop
When you drag an item from one site card and drop it onto another:
- The item is reassigned to that site automatically.
- The Summary tab updates to reflect the change.
- The item appears under the correct section on the new site card β whether that's Requests, Scheduled, Assets, Crews, or Laborers.
In short: drag an item to move it, drop it on a site card to assign it there.
Drag and drop works between any combination of site cards, including regular sites, the No Site card, and sections within the same card.
Why It's Useful
- Visual planning β See all your sites at once and move items where they belong.
- Fewer clicks β No need to open multiple forms just to reassign a site.
- Faster cleanup β Quickly move unassigned items out of the No Site card and onto the right job sites.
