How to Create Speed Limit Overrides (Desktop)

A Speed Limit Override is recommended for specific segments of a road where the default speed limit may be inappropriate or inaccurate, like a construction zone or areas with temporary speed restrictions.

This article shows how to create Speed Limit Overrides in the Driver Scorecard feature.

Permission Requirements:

Users with the "View all Driver Scorecards" and "Manage Scorecards" permissions enabled can create speed limit overrides.

đź’ĄDriver Scorecard is a feature of Safety and Compliance, a premium product that requires a separate license. Please contact your Account Manager for more information on premium product licenses or reach out to Customer Support at [email protected] or call 888.836.6269.

Important! If you do not see a trip path on the map and are not able to select start and end points, then Snap to Road has not been enabled on your account and speed overrides cannot be applied. Contact Tenna to have Snap to Road enabled on your account. Then, wait for another violation to complete the steps in this article.
