How to Trigger, Reschedule, or Cancel Upcoming Preventative Maintenance Services (App)

When a service comes due, a Maintenance Request is automatically triggered on the Maintenance Request page based on the specifications of the package.

If plans change, follow the below steps to trigger, reschedule, or cancel the service.

Permission Requirements: Users with the “View Preventative Maintenance” and "Maintenance Settings" permissions are able to trigger, reschedule or cancel upcoming preventative maintenance services.

Upcoming Preventative Maintenance Page Overview

There are two ways to access the Upcoming Preventative Maintenance page on the Tenna App:

From More Menu

Select the three dots icon on the bottom right to open the More Menu.

Select Preventative Maintenance.

The Upcoming tab will show a list of all Upcoming Preventative Maintenance Services.

Each card in the list includes:

  • Asset Photo
  • Fleet No – Asset Name
  • Service Title
  • Next Service (Hours/Miles/Days remaining until service is triggered)

Pro Tip! Use the search bar and filters icon to quickly find a service.

From the Asset Details Page

Select the magnifying glass icon to open the Search Menu.

Select Assets.

Find and select the Asset you would like to view.

Scroll to the Preventative Maintenance tab.

The Upcoming tab will show a list of all Upcoming Preventative Maintenance Services.

Each card in the list includes:

  • Service Title
  • Next Service (Hours/Miles/Days remaining until service is triggered)

How to Trigger an Upcoming Service

Triggering an Upcoming Service will jump start the Preventative Maintenance service by triggering the preventative maintenance schedule on demand and ensure the corresponding maintenance request is created.

Select the three dots on the card to open the actions menu.

Select Trigger.

Confirm by selecting Trigger PM.

How to Reschedule an Upcoming Service

Select the three dots on the card to open the Actions Menu.

Select Reschedule.

Enter a new value for the Service Trigger.

For a Timed-based trigger, you can select a new Service date.

For a Usage-based trigger, you can enter the value for Hours or Miles of the next service.

Select Reschedule.

How to Cancel an Upcoming Service

Select the three dots on the card to open the Actions Menu.

Select Cancel.

Confirm by selecting Cancel PM.
