Scorecard Coaching
Scorecard Coaching refers to providing guidance to individuals either driving vehicles or operating equipment to address risky behaviors and promote safe driving/operating practices. The goal of coaching is to improve safety and compliance within your organization.

Permissions
To manage Scorecard Coaching, users much have the Manage Scorecards permission turned ON.
Overview
Scorecard Coaching happens at the Scorecard and/or individual event level. Coaching notes can be used to provide:
- Explanations or clarifications about the violation
- Guidance on how to avoid similar violations in the future
- References to relevant policies or procedures
Before any Coaching can take place, thresholds must be configured within a Scorecard template. To learn how to create a template, see How to Create and Manage Scorecard Templates. To learn more about creating thresholds, see How to Create and Manage Scorecard Thresholds.
Note: You can use Coaching Rules to automatically trigger a āCoaching Neededā flag on scorecards based on a certain number (selected when creating scorecard template) of threshold violations. This trigger will notify the supervisor of the driver/operator, making it easier to identify which scorecards may require coaching.
How to Add Coaching Comments

- Click "Safety & Compliance" on the left-hand navigation menu.

- Select the "All Scorecards" tile.

- Click the "eye" icon for the Scorecard you are looking to add coaching comments.

- Click "Add Coaching Comments".

- Add the necessary commentary.

- Toggle on the desired comment requirements, these require an acknowledgement and/or signature from the individual the Scorecard belongs to.

- Click "Add Comment".
