TennaBLE Beacon Tracker Verification (Desktop)

What: TennaBLE Beacon tracker verification provides you with the confidence that all of your Bluetooth trackers were properly installed and gathering accurate data at the time of installation. We are the only company on the market providing this level of quality assurance!

Who: Equipment Managers and Users with permission to verify trackers.

Step 1. Select "Settings" in the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 2. Select "Trackers" and then choose "Tracker Verification".

A list of trackers needing verification is displayed on this tab.

Step 3. Select an asset by clicking the "eye" icon under Actions.

Step 4. Verify each criterion for the tracker.

Bluetooth trackers have three criteria to verify:

Accurate Position

The map pin represents the location of the TennaBLE tracker.

Accurate Address

The accurate address of the tracker is reflected.  Note that an address can be:

  • BLE Location Reading Timestamp
  • The timestamp of the first location reading of the Bluetooth tracker is accurate.
Location Reading Timestamp
The timestamp of the first location reading of the TennaBLE tracker is accurate.

Step 6. Click "Apply" to verify or fail criteria.

Successful verification: If all of your criteria are verified, once you click apply, the tracker is officially verified, and its status is changed to "Online." You can now see all the asset details associated with this piece of equipment, location and Site appear on the asset itself, and this asset disappears from the "Tracker Verification" list.
Failed criteria: If any of the criteria are failed, the installation is considered a fail. The tracker status changes to failed, and this tracker needs to go through the Tenna Field App Installation Process again. Having a conversation with your installer is essential to determine what steps need to be taken to achieve a proper installation. If your installer repeats the installation process and you are still not seeing accurate data, please contact Tenna Customer Support.

Step 7. Rinse and repeat.

If you have additional trackers to verify, simply return to the "Tracker Verification" report listed in Step 3 and repeat the process for every Bluetooth tracker on the list.
