Does running the Tenna App deplete my phone's battery?

It is best to have your Tenna App set to run in the background (default) so that it can function properly. Battery drainage from the Tenna App is very low, and can vary based on your device:

The benefits of having background Bluetooth ranging include:

  • Regular, autonomous updates to the location of your assets tracked with Tenna BLE Beacons without manually having to scan them.
