Dashboard Overview (Desktop)

What: The Dashboard includes various charts and graphs with insights about your assets and operations, including asset attributes, financial information, tracker health, and key performance indicators such as utilization and open maintenance items.

Who: All users can see the Dashboard feature, but the graphs and charts they see are driven by individual user permission set and the features configured in your account.

Permission-driven data that can be be viewed on the Dashboard includes:

  • Asset Status - always visible, not tied to a permission
  • Total Owned Assets - always visible, not tied to a permission
  • Total Rental Assets - always visible, not tied to a permission
  • Asset Total Value - "Financial Information" permission required
  • Rental Expenditures - "Rental Information" permission required
  • Asset Utilization - "Asset Utilization" permission required
  • Tracker Status - "Settings > Tracker" permission required
  • Pending and Upcoming Maintenance tickets -  "Upcoming Preventative Maintenance" permission required (when Maintenance license is enabled)
  • More insights added over time 

Dashboard Overview

Select "Dashboard" from the left navigation column to access the Dashboard.  

Financial

Owned Asset Value

This graph will tell you the value of your owned asset fleet.

Tip: Use the drop down menu to see total asset value of specific asset category. 

Rental Spend 

This graph shows money spent on rental equipment by project.

Tip: You can also navigate to the reports page for the purpose of exporting a specific report. Select the "three dots" on the right hand side of the report. Another drop-down menu will appear - select "View Report" (Not available on all graphs). You will also be able to see when the chart has been updated. 

Note: Place your cursor on the colored regions of the graph to see dollar amount totals for specific projects.

Operational

Utilization

See the utilization percentage of your equipment by category group.

Tip: Use the drop down menu to see utilization for each specific asset category. 

Note: Place your cursor on the blue dots to see exact percentages on specific dates.

See the quantity of assets with specific asset statuses.

Note: Place your cursor on the colored regions of the graph to see exact totals.

Left Behind

See assets that have a "Left Behind" tag, which means they have been separated from the Primary asset in their asset group.  

Tip: Click on "View List" to see the complete list of assets that have a status of "Left Behind".

Inactive Assets

See assets that have been inactive for 21 days or more.  

Tip: Click on "View List" to see the complete list of assets that are inactive.

Top Projects

See which projects have the most assets.  

Trackers

See the quantity of specific trackers that you have on your assets.

Note: Place your cursor on the colored regions of the graph to see exact totals.

Offline Trackers

This is the amount of trackers that have an "Offline" status.  

Tip: Click on "View List" to see the complete list of trackers that are offline.

Owned Asset Count

This widget shows the all the owned assets in your account.

Note: Place your cursor on the colored regions of the pie chart to see the totals broken out by asset category and the percentage that category makes up across your entire fleet. 

Rental Asset Count

This widget shows the all the rented assets (vs. owned assets) in your account.

Note: Place your cursor on the colored regions to see the totals broken out by asset category  and the percentage that category makes up across your entire fleet. 

Reserve It Requests

This is the total amount of open Reserve It requests.  

Tip: Click on "View List" to see the complete list of open asset requests.

Maintenance Requests

This is the total amount of open maintenance requests.  

Tip: Click on "View List" to see the complete list of pending maintenance requests.

Preventative Maintenance

This is the total amount of upcoming preventative maintenance services.  

Tip: Click on "View List" to see the complete list of upcoming preventative maintenance services.
