How to View and Edit Work Orders (App)

What: Users can view and edit work orders that have not been marked as complete inside the Tenna app.

Who: Power Users and users with appropriate "Maintenance" and "Work Order" permissions turned on can view and edit work order in the App.


Viewing Work Orders from the Tenna App

Step 1. From the app home screen, select "More" on the bottom right.

Step 2. Select "View Work Orders".

Step 3. Select "Not Completed" or "Completed" at the top of the screen to narrow your results. You can also search for work orders if preferred. A list of work orders will appear on the screen.

Step 4. Select the Work Order you would like to view to open the Work Order Details page. 

For Completed Work Orders, you can view Work Order Details like Work Order Title,

Asset, Number, Notes, Priority, Location, Start and End Time, Labor and Parts Costs,

Mechanics, Total Hours, Approvers, and associated Maintenance Requests. 

For Not Completed Work Orders, you can make edits here.  See below for instructions. 


Editing Work Orders from the Tenna App

Step 1. Navigate to the "View Work Orders" screen per the instructions above. Select "Not Completed" at the top of the screen.

Note: Completed work orders cannot be edited.

Step 2. Select the Work Order you wish to edit.

Step 4. Select "Edit" to edit all of the Work Order Details, like adding a Maintenance Request, editing the Work Order title, number, bill to, notes, and priority, plus assign or remove Mechanics and Approvers. 

Step 5. Select "Make Updates" to update the Labor and Parts Cost on the Work Order. Select "Continue" 

Step 6. If desired, select the pencil icon next to the Maintenance Request to record voice memos, add photos, and add notes to the work order.

Step 7. Click "Update" at the bottom of the screen.
