How to Edit, Deactivate or Delete a User, Contact or Company (Desktop)

Permission Requirements: Users need the “Contacts” permission to view the Users tab in Settings, where users can be deactivated or deleted. Users with the “Contacts Details” permission can view the details of a user and make edits.

NOTE: These actions can only be done in Tenna on a desktop, not in the Tenna App.

Edit a User, Contact or Company

Click "Settings" on the top right of the screen.

Click on the "Users" tab.

Select "User," "Contact," or "Company" on the top right.

Click on the eye icon next to the user you wish to edit.

This will pull up the user details page for that user.

Click "Edit User"/"Edit Contact"/"Edit Company" on the top left side of the screen.

Make necessary edits.

Scroll down to click "Update User"/"Update Contact"/"Update Company" on the bottom right of the screen.

Deactivate/Delete a User, Contact or Company

If a user is deleted, the user no longer exists in Tenna. If a user is deactivated, the user can no longer log in to Tenna, but there is still a record of their activity in Tenna.

Click "Settings" on the top right of the screen.

Click on the "Users" tab.

Select "User," "Contact," or "Company" on the top right.

Select the checkbox next to the users you wish to deactivate/delete.

Click "Deactivate" or "Delete" on the top left.
