Daily Asset Utilization by Assignment Report

The Daily Asset Utilization by Assignment Report breaks down daily utilization metrics of assets taking into consideration its assignment history. A sample use case for this report is to view the utilization of an asset assigned to a subcontractor.

Assets with the following trackers will pull into this report provided the tracker is installed, verified and online: TennaFLEET, TennaMINI, TennaIN AEMP (John Deere, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, United Rentals), TennaCANbus.

Permission Requirements: All users have the ability to view this report.

NOTE: If Data Access Controls is enabled on your account, users will only see the assets to which they have access when viewing this report. See Data Access Control Overview for additional information.

How to View Report

Click "Reports" on the navigation menu on the left side of the screen.

Click on "Daily Asset Utilization - by Assignment" under the Performance section.

Report Overview

  • The far left column categorizes the the fleet number and the asset.
  • The columns in the right list the dates and list the usage below. The usage is listed in days, hours, and minutes.

Utilize the search bar to find a specific asset and select the appropriate date range that best displays what you are looking to view. This can be Today, Yesterday, Previous Week, Previous Month, and a specific date range.

    • Utilization data for each day represents utilization recorded for that asset while it was assigned to the assignee indicated based on the given calendar day in the account time zone. See How to Configure Company Working Hours and Time Zone (Desktop) for additional information.
    • Results in red indicate low utilization for that asset on that day. This is based on the account configuration for asset utilization percentage (company specified) that is considered underutilized. See How to Configure Utilization Percentage Threshold (Desktop) for additional information.
    • If “View Weekdays Only” and/or “View Workdays Only” are checked, those days will be removed as columns.
    • If “View Weekdays Only” and/or “View Workdays Only” are NOT checked, those days will be shown as columns.
    • A result of “0” indicates a holiday or a non-workday.
    • A result of “N/A” indicates an asset did not run and does not report any utilization work hours but is expected to as it’s a workday.

NOTE: Workdays are all days of the week excluding federal holidays.
