New Products

Afterhours Alerts

New Afterhours Alerts allow relevant users to be notified about asset activity during your designated Afterhour period.

  • Triggered by ignition events or distance of 100 meters or more (~330 feet)
  • Users can configure Afterhour period and set up specific alert triggers
  • Note: Not supported for AEMP assets

Ideal For:

  • Theft alerts for high-value or sensitive asset categories
  • Preventing unauthorized weekend use of specific equipment
  • Reporting on personal use of assets

What it is Not:

  • A Geofence-based Alert: This alert does not mean a breach of a geofence. The Geofence Enter/Exit alerts can be used for that purpose.
  • Driver Monitoring Alerts: This alert is not designed to monitor trip activity.
  • Based on minimum duration: This alert simply notifies of an ignition on during a designated after hour period; it is not based on a minimum run time to trigger.

New Report: Afterhours Alert Detail

A new report showing the details of all triggered Afterhours Alerts has been added to Tenna. The report leverages afterhour ignition trigger rules to summarize notification activity for all unsanctioned asset activity.

  • Relevant Users: Equipment Manager, Office Personnel, Risk Manager
  • Part of the TennaCORE license (no premium product necessary)

Offline Mode for Maintenance (Tenna App)

Users can now create and update the status of Maintenance Requests and Work Orders while offline.

  • Download Maintenance Requests and Work Orders for offline use
  • Additional data is downloaded automatically for offline use:
    • Maintenance Requests/Work Order Types
    • Users
  • Create MRs and WOs offline using saved assets or by manually entering a fleet number

  • Make key status updates while offline:
    • Maintenance Requests: Resolve, Decline, Acknowledge, and Create Work Order
    • Work Orders: Start, Submit for Approval, and Approve/Deny

Why This Matters: Even more flexibility for field users that often do not have adequate cellular service during operation.

Mobile Two-Factor Authentication

The new, optional SMS-based 2FA allows users to authenticate again via a code sent through SMS after initial login to Tenna.

Must be enabled on a per-user basis by a Power User or user with Create/Edit User permission enabled.

Why This Matters: Enhanced security. Ensure that the sensitive data stored in Tenna is secure by requiring users to authenticate twice when logging in.

Key Enhancements

Scorecard

Scorecard Detail Videos Subpage

  • Quickly and easily review scorecard-specific event videos and snapshot images, including reference to:
    • Event type
    • Date and time of event
    • Assignee name
    • Vehicle/Asset name and category
  • Click an event card to play all related videos.
  • Void or transfer events, as needed.

All Scorecard Events Video Thumbnails

In similar fashion to the videos page in the individual Scorecard Details Page, a Video Card View has been added to the All Scorecard Events page. Users may view all captured video thumbnails.

Pro Tip! Filter to view Unassigned Events for ease of bulk assignment.

Copy Log from Scorecard Template History

Utilize the Change History Log to get a snapshot of what changed on certain types of history log items.

Click β€œCopy Raw Log” to copy all of the details of the changes to your system clipboard.

Scorecard Events Priority Column and Filter

A new threshold priority column has been added to the All Scorecard Events grid. Users can also filter by this data field.

Why This Matters: Quickly identify critical, high priority violations for immediate review and reporting.

Scorecard Attachments

Drag-and-drop or select images, documents, and media files to associate with a scorecard.

Why This Matters: Valuable for storing purchase receipts, accident reports, and images of citations or tickets – all tied directly to the specific scorecard.

Maintenance

Work Order Vendor Field (Tenna App, too!)

Work Orders now include a β€œVendor” field in the Schedule & Assignment section. This allows a Work Order to be assigned to one or more Vendors (from existing Company contacts), instead of an internal Mechanic.

  • Track and apply maintenance and labor costs to third-party vendors
  • New column in Work Order grids and print view
  • Can filter by Vendor
  • Vendor column added to Work Order Detail and Work Order Financials Detail reports
  • Permission based: Users with the Edit Work Order permissions enabled.
  • Note: This will not impact or limit the existing Vendor Cost functionality.

Tenna App

Resubmit and Recertify DVIR Inspection with Failed Trailer Inspection Items

Users may now resubmit and recertify DVIR inspections with check items which had been marked as failed on a trailer. Previously, only DVIR inspections with failed items on the vehicle portion were able to be resubmitted and recertified.

Data Access Control (DAC) Applies to Global Search

Users with Data Access Control applied will only see results for assets they have access to in the Global Search Bar.

Resource Management Requested Location

When creating a request, the Requested Location map now includes street names and locations for easier wayfinding and increased accuracy.

Maintenance: Bulk Upload Photos from Mobile Device Library

Users can now conveniently upload up to 5 photos at a time from their photo library within Work Orders and Maintenance Requests: Create and Resolve Maintenance Requests, Add Note (MR and WO), and Work Order Details.
