How to Add Photos to an Asset (App)

What: A user can add or edit photos of assets.

Who: Users with the "Asset Photo" permissions.

NOTE:

If you are trying to add photos in Tenna on a desktop, see How to Add Photos and Documents to an Asset (Desktop).

1

Search for an asset.

See How to Search, View and Filter Assets (App) for further details on how to search.

2

Select the asset to view the Asset Details page.

3

Select the asset's photo.

If there is no existing asset photo, a blank avatar will appear.

4

Select "Photo Management".

5

Select "Add Photo".

6

Select the source you wish to add the photo from.

  • Library: Select a saved photo on your phone.
  • Camera: Take a new photo and click "Use Photo".

Pro Tip! It is recommended to take the photos with your phone's camera (vs. in the app) and upload from your library. This will prevent spotty or poor cell service from interrupting and losing photos taken within the app.

Once a photo is selected/taken, it will be added to the asset photos.

Repeat these steps to add more photos if needed.

7

Select a photo to delete or save as the asset's default image.

8

Select "Done" to save changes.
