Permissions Overview

What: Permissions dictate a user’s ability to see and interact with specific Tenna features and functions.

  • Each individual permission listed in the tables below is configured within a Permission Code in a defined variation of On/Off or On-Read/On-Write/Off.
  • Permission Codes are the collection of individually configured permissions for functionality and notifications. Permission Codes are assigned to Permission Groups.
  • Permissions with asterisks* indicate permissions that have corresponding Notifications. Users receive access to Notifications also through their permissions.

Who: Power Users assign all system Users to a Permission Group to apply for their permissions. This can be done on an individual user or in bulk.

See Permission Code Part 1: How to Configure Permissions (Desktop)Permission Codes Part 2: How to Configure Notification Permissions in Permission Codes (Desktop) and  How to Create/Edit Permission Groups (Desktop) articles for more information on setting up permissions for your account.
