Tracker Details Page Overview

The Tracker Details page provides a focused view of a single tracker so you can quickly understand how it is performing, where it is, and how it is configured. Use this page to review tracker health, connectivity, recent activity, and to troubleshoot issues in the field.

Permission Requirements: Users with the "View Asset Tracker" permission enabled can view the Tracker Details page.

How to Access Tracker Details

There are two ways to access the Tracker Details page in Tenna:

  1. From the Tracker Status page, click the "eye" icon next to a tracker.

  1. From the Asset Details page, click "View Details" under the tracker image.

Tracker Details Page Overview

The Tracker Details page shows all pertinent information about a specific installed tracker, including:

  • Tracker identification and hardware details
  • The asset the tracker is assigned to
  • Status and health metrics (battery, cellular, GPS, and more)
  • Last communication (“last seen”) and location information
  • Recent events and activity history that can assist with troubleshooting

This page is designed for Mechanics, Installers, and Shop/Equipment Managers who need a deep view into how a single device is performing.

Tracker Details Page

Header

The header remains static on the Tracker Details page.

It includes the following information related to your tracker (as applicable):

Tracker Image, ELD banner (if applicable), Tracker Type, Tracker Status, Tracker Serial No., Tracker Model, Tracker Unplugged Timestamp, Last Data Received Timestamp

NOTE: The tracker type in the header will display a blue badge if the tracker is still under warranty.

Tracker Offline Reasons

In the event that your tracker goes Offline, the status on the right side of the Tracker Details header will say Offline and possible reasons will populate next to the status.

Selecting the Possible Reasons link will open a modal with more information about the possible reasons your tracker is offline.

General Info Tab

Assigned Asset Details (Asset Image, Fleet No., Asset Name, Asset Category)

Pro Tip! Select the "eye" icon to go to the Asset Details Page for the assigned asset.

Last Tracker Location (Interactive Map and Timestamp)

General Info:

  • Tracker Warranty End Date (green means the tracker is still in warranty, yellow means the tracker is out of warranty)
  • Tracker Insights
  • Tracker Firmware and Configuration
  • Tracker Carrier Insights
  • Tracker 2 Details

ECU Provided Data Points:

TennaCANbus and TennaFLEET II only

This section populates for our trackers that are capable of reporting data from your asset's Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The section shows all data points that the asset’s ECU is capable of communicating.

Hover over the Tool Tip for each data point to learn more.

NOTE: Values for each of these data points will not populate in this section. Data from each of these points are fed into various reports and features of Tenna.

Installation Info Tab

  • General Info (Latest Values for Certification Decision, Installer, Verifier, Verification Time, External PTO)
  • Miles and Hours Call Out (Miles at Installation and Hours at Installation – with option to view Meter Photo)

NOTE: These will only show if applicable and available

  • Installation Photos (Carousel of attached photos with annotations and options to download)

NOTE: This will be hidden if no photos have been attached.

  • Installation Location (interactive map and timestamp of installation)

Tracker Insights Tab

  • Time & Date Selection (Option to select a PAST date to view Tracker Insights)

NOTE: The default selection is for the last 24 hours

  • Insights Interval Dropdown (Update the Tracker Insights Graph to interval options - Minute, Hour, Days)
  • Tracker Insights Graphs (Asset Battery Voltage, Tracker Battery Voltage, Cellular Signal Strength, GPS Fix Quality, GPS HDOP, GPS NumSV, Ignition Wiring)

NOTE: Some Tracker types do not support all of the Tracker Insights data points, so there may be missing graphs depending on Tracker type.
