New Products

TennaCANbus + AEMP

Combine the power of Tenna's CANbus Tracker with your existing OEM AEMP subscription.

You can now have the best of both worlds--- accurate, rich, live data from a Tenna tracker and exclusive data from your OEM--- with our new TennaCANbus + AEMP product.

Compliment the real time data capabilities of Tenna's CANbus tracker (including fuel burn, idle time, PTO, and DTCs) with data on Fault Codes provided by your OEM's subscription*.

  • Requires customer credentials to OEM portals/services.
  • Also works on Tenna mobile app.

Add your OEM subscription to power your assets' Secondary Telematics.

Assets with primary Telematics of Tenna--- designed for Tenna Trackers--- now support Secondary Telematics from OEMs.

Get full coverage by combining the Tenna trackers with your OEM subscription:

  • Live data from Tenna Trackers
  • CANbus data from Tenna Tracker including Fuel, Idle Fuel, PTO, Idle Time, DTCs and more (if available and provided by the asset)
  • Fault Codes reported by your OEM's subscription*.
  • Tracker Status and Health for both Tenna Trackers and your OEM subscription (via Tenna's AEMP integration).

NOTE: Depending on your OEM and subscription level, Fault Codes may not be available. Ensure that you have the appropriate OEM subscription that reports Fault Codes prior to purchasing TennaCANbus + AEMP.

Also note, United Rentals AEMP feed typically does not report fault codes, regardless of subscription level.

Enhancements

Tracker Health Enhancements

NEW! Offline Reason Capture

Take the guessing out of offline trackers! Tracker Details will now identify possible reasons why your tracker may have gone offline, like poor cellular coverage, installation or wiring issues, tracker unplugged, etc.

These possible reasons are now included in your Tracker Offline notifications. Utilize the Tracker Troubleshooting Guide to remedy the issue on your own or know when to call us for help.

Tracker Details Page Header Shows Possible Offline Reasons

NEW! User Certification

Ensure each installation is done properly with Tenna’s User Certification status. Our Customer Success team can train your mechanics while on site during implementation or virtually for remote installations. Once complete and verified by a Tenna Admin, certified mechanics will display a shiny Tenna badge next to their username.

The Tracker Status grid will now have columns for the installer’s certification status, who they were certified by, and when.

NEW! Tracker Warranty Tracking

We've got you covered. Easily keep track of your trackers' limited warranty dates. See the Warranty End Date on the Tracker Status Report and the Tracker Details page.

NOTE: The blue warranty badge will only show in the header if the Tracker is still in warranty. The warranty end date in General Info will be yellow if the tracker is out of warranty.

Custom Inspections Enhancements

Based on customer feedback, we have implemented the following enhancements to Custom Inspections:

Geofence Enter/Exit and Site Change Notifications (in Tenna and Tenna App) will now include any inspections assigned to that asset at the time of the triggered event (i.e., asset enters a geofence, asset exits a geofence, asset’s site is changed).

Notifications get sent to the appropriate recipients, including Site Managers, PMs, and others, so they can make sure to inspected equipment coming onto their sites.

Missed Inspections Grid will now include the asset’s physical site name and number at the time of a missed inspection. Users can also search, sort and filter by site name in the grid. This is helpful particularly for our customers working as subcontractors, or for general contractors, that require inspection reports.

View Inspections and Missed Inspections in more places! Grid enhancements on Site Details and Asset Details pages:

  • Site Details Page
    • Under the Sites Details > Safety & Compliance tab, we have added Missed Inspections, Inspection Reports, and Inspection Assets
    • When viewing any site, if the assets currently assigned to that site have inspections assigned, previous inspection reports, or missed inspections, those records will appear on these pages.

  • Asset Details Page
    • Similarly, when viewing the Asset detail page, you will now find the associated missed inspections and inspection reports for the asset under the Safety & Compliance tab.

Premium License Call to Action

  • Users on accounts that have not yet purchased the Custom Inspections license will now see a call to action to upgrade.
  • Hover over the 'Create Inspection Form' button to see a message with a link to "Learn More." The CTA will direct them to the Tenna Inspections web page where they can learn more and request a demo.

Improved Inspection Report Signature

  • The inspector's signature is now presented in the way you would find on traditional paper forms.
  • Contains the image of the signature submitted by the inspection submitter on the Tenna Mobile app, the user's printed name, and the date it was submitted.
  • Signature appears on the Inspection Report Detail page and on the print view.
