Action QR Workflows

Action QRs allow users to complete various tasks by scanning the Action QR label. The labels can be adhered to assets or inventory parts and provide quick access to specific actions using the Tenna app.

Asset Workflows

Assign to Me

The purpose of this action is to designate yourself as the assignee of the asset.

Open the scanner in your Tenna App.

Scan the QR code located on the asset with the Tenna mobile app by hovering the camera over the QR code.

Once scanned, a prompt will appear on the app to assign the asset to you the user.

Click the "Assign to Me" asset action to assign the asset to yourself.

The asset will now display you as the assignee.

Edit Asset Label

Open the scanner in your Tenna App.

Scan the QR code located on the asset with the Tenna mobile app by hovering the camera over the QR code.

Once scanned, a prompt will appear on the app that displays the asset. Click on the asset to view its details page.

Look for the "Asset Label" section and click on "Edit Asset Label".

Save the changes made to the Asset Label.


Create Fuel Entry

Open the scanner in your Tenna App.

Scan the QR code located on the asset with the Tenna mobile app by hovering the camera over the QR code.

Once scanned, a prompt will appear on the app showing the specific asset. Click the asset to view its details page.

Click the "Create Fuel Entry" option.

Enter the fuel details for the asset including amount, fuel type, quantity, and cost.

Save the fuel entry data.


Create Maintenance Request

Open the scanner in your Tenna App.

Scan the QR code located on the asset with the Tenna mobile app by hovering the camera over the QR code.

Once scanned, a prompt will appear on the app to create a maintenance request for the asset the qr code is assigned to.

Click "Create Maintenance Request".

Fill out the details of the maintenance request and click "Continue".

Add any important notes relevant to the maintenance request. Once completed, click "Create Request" then the request will be added.
