How to Edit, Transfer, and Re-Assign an Asset (App)

What: Within the Tenna App, users have the ability to edit, transfer, and re-assign assets.

Who: Users with the "Edit/Update Asset" and "Edit Assignee" permissions, as applicable.

NOTE:

NOTE:

There is a limited amount of information that can be edited within the Tenna App. To fully utilize the edit function, please log on to Tenna on a computer.

How to Edit an Asset in Tenna App

Search for the asset you wish to edit.

See How to Search, View and Filter Assets (App) for further details on how to search.

Select the asset to view the Asset Details page.

From the Asset Details page, the following edits can be made:

Change General information

Change Hours

Change General Information

Under the General tab, scroll down and click "Edit" at the bottom of the screen.

Update the organization and click "Select" or click "Skip" to move to the next screen without updating the organization.

Edit the asset information and click "Next".

Edit asset information and click "Update".

Change Hours

Under the Hours/Miles tab, edit the hours and click "Save".

NOTE:

Miles cannot be changed manually within the Tenna App. For more information, see the How to Update Current Miles (Desktop) article.

How to Transfer an Asset in Tenna App

Under the Location tab, click on the orange arrow under Site.

Select the site you wish to update the asset with and click "Confirm".

How to Re-Assign an Asset in Tenna App

Under the Location tab, click on the orange arrow under Assignee.

Select the user you wish to assign to the asset with and click "Confirm".
