Overview
Scorecard leverages telematics technology to track and evaluate driver performance data based on various criteria and metrics enabling contractors to view and analyze behavioral trends for improvement in fleet safety. The scorecard has a built-in point system for unique driver grading, enhancing buy-in by incentivizing drivers to improve their performance and scores and enabling management to spot trends over time for corrective action.
- Drivers and Operators can assess their scorecards for performance insights and improvement to protect themselves and the traveling public. This contributes to the overall company safety record and the safe and efficient operation of vehicles to extend their lifespan and reduce operating costs.
- Management can track and reduce violations with real time alerts and aggregate grading to efficiently streamline and implement safety across assets, personnel, and the business. Scorecards improve record keeping and documentation while increasing compliance, and reward and promote individuals that abide to your culture of safety.
Scorecard Templates
Scorecard templates define sets of thresholds, coaching rules, and assigned assets for scorecards. Each template can contain specific thresholds for tracking events such as hard breaking, speeding, and idling, as well as rules for automating the identification of drivers/operators that need coaching. These templates also allow for the assignment of assets to specific scorecards and the creation of auto-assignment rules to ensure assets are assigned correctly. Scorecard templates provide a structured framework for managing and evaluating driver performance and can be customized to align with different types of assets and driving habits.

Scorecard Violations & Thresholds
Scorecard violations refer to incidents or events that trigger a violation on a scorecard. These violations are recorded and tracked to assess a driver’s performance and adherence to safety and compliance standards. Scorecard violations can include speeding, idling, hard braking, hard acceleration, etc. The thresholds for these violations vary depending on the configuration of a scorecard template and settings.

Coaching
Scorecard Coaching provides guidance and feedback to drivers based on their performance as measured by a scorecard. It involves analyzing the driver's scorecard, which tracks various events suchas speeding, harsh braking, etc. The coaching is done through notifications, both in-app and via email, to inform the driver of their performance and areas for improvement. The goal of Coaching is to enhance driver safety, promote better driving habits, and reduce safety-related incidents.
