Release Notes: March 17, 2023

Our March 17, 2023 release includes a number of improvements and enhancements, many requested by customers as we work to continually make Tenna the most effective platform for construction equipment and fleet management needs. Here's what's new!

BUT FIRST! Refresh your browser and update your Tenna App to ensure you are seeing the latest and greatest from us!

NEW! Net Working Hours Report

Users can now view Hours Accumulated, Idle Time Accumulated, and Net Work Hours in a single report for assets with trackers that support trip and cycle reporting, including AEMP assets. The Net Working Hours report gives you an accurate and reliable picture of your asset’s productivity, as it calculates Net Working Hours by subtracting idling hours from run time.

The Net Working Hours Report includes Filters, Date Range picker, Export Displayed, Export All, and Pagination.

Other Reports Updates

Idling Report v2

Users can now view idling data for their assets with Tenna trackers capable of reporting idle information for Trips and Cycles, including AEMP assets, for weekly and monthly data ranges using the data range picker.

Asset Rentals and Fuel Consumption Reports

Experience improved performance for the Asset Rentals and Fuel Consumption reports, including pagination updates, added support for Export All and Export Displayed Results, improved filter and sort behavior, and improved column and tooltip display.

Asset Uploads

Uploading and managing Asset photos is made easier with an improved Photo Management screen layout, with Default Image markers, crop tool, and improved drag and drop support for uploading images.

Maintenance Enhancements

Maintenance Requests

When reviewing the list of Maintenance Requests, users can now view, sort and filter by new columns: Asset Name and Current Assignee.  A new data field for “Resolved Date/Time” is also shown for the specific date and time that a Maintenance Request status was changed to Resolved.

Preventative Maintenance

From the Preventative Maintenance page, users can now view, sort and filter by new columns: Service Trigger, Current Assignee, and Recipients.

When creating or editing a Preventative Maintenance Service Package, users can now assign assets from a paginated Asset list, providing better performance for packages with a high number of assets.

Work Orders

From the Work Orders page, users can now view, sort and filter by new columns: Asset’s Current Hours and Current Miles

Work Order email notifications now include a link to view the associated Work Order details.

Procore Integration Enhancements

The Tenna <> Procore Integration provides accurately, timely data to Procore's Daily Log for assets on a site and their utilization. The utilization is provided by Tenna Trackers and/or OEM integrations, so it is accurate and precise without the need for 'manual hours entries' to take place in the field.

Users can now login to Procore directly in Tenna’s Settings tab to view the status and details of the latest sync. From here, you can also configure your Equipment Log settings and enter multiple Procore company IDs.

Users may now configure which assets are sent to Procore’s Daily Log based on Tracker type, including non-powered assets and/or assets that do not report Site Utilization. This provides a complete and automated list of all attachments, equipment, vehicles, and tools located at job sites.

Additional Enhancements:

  • Trackers Export All: Users can now utilize the Export All function on the Trackers page to export a spreadsheet of all Trackers.
  • TennaCAM 2.0 Camera Event Toggle: Users may now toggle Braking and Acceleration event reporting for TennaCAM 2.0's with new OBD/JBUS cable installations.
  • Mobile App Enhancements: Create and manage Work Orders from the Tenna Mobile App, and more!
