Job Details Page Overview (Desktop)
The Job Details Page contains all of the pertinent information related to the specific job. This article reviews everything that is include in the Job Details Page and what actions can be taken there.
Permission Requirements:
- Users with the “View Jobs” permission enabled can view the Job Details Page.
- Users with the “View Geofences & Security Perimeters” permission enabled can view the Geofences tab in Job Details.
- Users with the “View Cost/Billing Entries” permission enabled can view the Asset Financials tab.

How to View the Job Details Page

- In the left side navigation menu, click Jobs - Financials. Then, click "All Jobs".

- Next to a Job, click the eye icon to open the Job Details Page.

Job Details Page Overview
From the Job Details Page, you may view and manage information about the Job, including its number, name, type, description, associated organization and customer details, points of contact, job status, start and end dates, automation rules for billing and cost allocation geofences, and attachments, and more.

Associated Jobs
The Associated Jobs panel highlights all jobs within the same hierarchy as the currently selected job. All other Jobs in the account are in the list and can be clicked to open the Job Details on the right side.

- Expand or Collapse: Click the button on the top right of the Associated Jobs panel to expand or collapse the panel.

- Expand or Collapse Parent/Sub-Jobs: Click the arrow next to a parent job to expand or collapse the list of sub-jobs.

- Job Actions: Click the dotted icon next to a job to select another action (Edit, Clone, Create Job, Delete)
NOTE: These actions require certain Jobs permissions. View Jobs Permissions, Notifications, and Configurations Overview (Desktop) for more details.

Header

The Job Details header includes the following details about the specific job:
- Job Number - Job Name
- Job Type
- Job Status
- Parent Job (if applicable)
Pro Tip! Click on the Parent Job to open the Job Details page for the Parent Job.
- Mailing Address of the Job
Pro Tip! Hover over the address to view the map pop-over. Click on the View Map button to open the address in Google Maps.

- Assigned Organization
NOTE: For more information on the details include in the Job Details page, view All Jobs Data Overview.
- Job Actions: Edit, Clone, Create Job (to create a sub-job under this job), and Delete.

General Info

The General Info tab of the Job Details Page includes the following information:
- Customer
- Value
- Timezone
- Start Date
- End Date
- Projected End Date
- Description
- Notes 1 and 2
- Rate Tables: If Billing and/or Costing Rate Tables are assigned, there will be a green icon with the name of the Rate Table next to it. If no Rate Tables are assigned, a red icon will show with a dash.

Pro Tip! Click on the Rate Table name to open it.
- Automation Rules: Shows the number of Billing and/or Costing Geofences assigned to the Job for automation.

Pro Tip! Click on one of the numbers to open the Geofences tab on this Job Details Page.
- Assigned Points of Contact: Project Managers, Job Accountants, Superintendents, Mechanics, Health & Safety, and Other
Pro Tip! Hover over an avatar to view the user/contact details.

- Attachments: Any files attached to the Job can be viewed here.

Assets
Note: Data Access Control (DAC) applies to the Assets tab in Job Details.
The Assets tab of the Job Details page shows assets currently assigned to this job for billing or costing (automatically or manually).
Views: Click the drop-down at the top of the grid to swap between Grid View, Map View, and Group View.

Bulk Actions: Click the checkbox next to one or more assets to open the Bulk Actions menu, which includes options to re-assign, re-categorize, transfer, change the status, group, delete, unassign or re-assign the billing job or costing job, and add or remove labels.

Filters: Click the filters icon to open a list of available asset filters.

Geofences
Permission Requirements: Users with the “View Geofences & Security Perimeters” permission enabled can view the Geofences tab in Job Details.
The Geofences tab of the Job Details page shows all geofences associated with the specific job. The geofences shown are assigned to the job for billing/costing automation.

Enable/Disable Automation: Click the checkbox next to one or more geofence to open bulk actions, which allow you to enable or disable billing and costing automation for the selected geofences.

The Grid and Map Views of the Geofences tab functions the same way that the Geofences grid does. View How to Create, View, Edit or Delete a Geofence or Security Perimeter (Desktop) for more details.
Asset Financials
Permission Requirements: Users with the “View Cost/Billing Entries” permission enabled can view the Asset Financials tab.
NOTE: These metrics are subject to Data Access Control, meaning users will only see totals for assets they have access to.
The Asset Financials tab within Job Details provides a financial dashboard view for a specific job, displaying summary metrics, cost and billing trends, and navigation to detailed cost entry and rate table management pages.

Total Billing = Sum of all billing entry values for the job lifetime.
Total Cost = Sum of all cost entry values for the job lifetime.
Note: These values will only show if Show Billing and/or Show Costing are enabled in Job Settings.

Billing and Cost Trends: This chart is a graphic representation of the Total Billing and Total Cost numbers broken down by month.
Pro Tip! Hover over a point on the chart to see detailed value numbers for that month.

Important! The values are specific to the entries for the Parent Job or Sub-Job you are currently viewing.


The final section of the Asset Financials tab in Job Details includes additional navigation links for relevant features.

Rate Tables: View the Job Rate Table for the selected Job.
Accessing this link requires the “View Rate Table Templates” permission.
Billing Entries: View all Billing Entries filtered to the selected Job.
Cost Entries: View all Cost Entries filtered to the selected Job.
Accessing the Billing Entries and Cost Entries links requires the “View Cost/Billing Entries” permission. These links may be hidden if Show Billing and/or Show Costing are disabled in Job Settings.
Edit Entries: Navigates to the Edit Entries page filtered to the selected Job. From there, you can add or edit the Job’s entries.
Accessing the Edit Entries link requires the “View Cost/Billing Entries” and “Manage Cost/Billing Entries” permissions.
